Hello! My name is Alison. I’ve been passionate about country music since I was very young. I got to know music by following styles – rock, southern rock and the country music styles of today – and by cruising through the USA. I’ve also bought a lot of CDs! In recent years, I started broadcasting the “Les News de Nashville” on the Big Cactus Country presented by my friend Johnny Da Piedade. You can read my blog post on the Big Cactus Country site as well as here on the HorizonVU Music Blog and SHOP!

Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan

Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan

A lively evening with a new presenter duo top level, I named: Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan! ACM Awards for 2013, know that it is the fans who vote and they can make their vote from March 25 on the site www.acm.com . This event will be broadcast live on CBS. We have a list of artists nominated for the Academy Of Country Music Awards 2013 and to our surprise, it is the bad boy Eric Church who won the most nominations with Texan Miranda Lambert.

Miranda Lambert and Eric Church

Miranda Lambert and Eric Church

Eric Church passes visibly gear, as we find named six times! Male artist, best album with her album “Chief”, single and song of the year with the wonderful title “Springsteen” not to mention a nomination for Video of the Year for his latest single “Creepin ‘!

Unfortunately Eric is not named for the ultimate prize of Entertainer Of The Year, but why not next year! All goes well for Miranda Lambert who also hangs when her four nominations but not least, the female singer of the year, best single and song with the wonderful title “Over You” co-written with her husband Blake Shelton.

Miranda is also known for the mega prize, the artist of the year. Other artists nominated for the price Entertainer Of The Year are: Jason Aldean, one of the hosts of the evening Luke Bryan, as I proclaim to you Miranda Lambert, but her husband Blake Shelton and singer Country Pop Taylor Swift. Necessarily in the great ceremonies annual country, there are often the same artists, but the wheel turns slowly and new names are emerging as one of the young Kacey Musgraves, who had come to France to accompany the Josh Abbott Band scene Country Rendez-Vous Festival Craponne in July 2011, but Brantley Gilbert and his fiancé Jana Kramer, the now famous Hunter Hayes, pop singer Kelly Clarkson for her duet with Vince Gill with the title “Do not Rush” and many more! To give you an idea of the artists for whom you vote, please visit the website www.bigcactuscountry.fr
