Creative Advice from Clare Bowditch

This is a really earthy, warm insight about creativity from
Australian songwriter, Clare Bowditch. Click image to watch!
This video is esecially important if you struggle with finding
your ‘muse’, your creativity, your true self. I love the way
Clare closes this TED talk by saying ‘life is short, for heaven’s
sake, make the most of it!’

Here is a picture of me back in 2009 with Big Al and the
beautiful musician:Omer Makesa.

Big Al was a dear friend. A soul brother, my producer on my first
two releases, bass player and more! Al was an absolute
inspiration for me, for my music, and he touched my heart
forever. It’s nearlly three years since Al passed away and I
think of him often. I am so thankful that I was given the
opportunity to work with someone so gifted and talented and so in
it for the heart. Making a career in the music industry isn’t the
easiest thing in the world, and like most of us, Al did music for
the love of it.

So here’s to doing things for the ‘Love of it!’
